Care and the love of knitting or crocheting have been combined into a prayerful ministry that reaches out to those in need of comfort and reassurance. Shawls, hat, and gloves are blessed at weekend Masses and distributed to those who are ill, lonely, or need encouragement, along with a prayer for their peace and healing.

There is a meeting on the first Sunday of the month from 2-3:30 PM in the Community Room for those who would like to come together with others for prayer and socialization as they work on their shawls. Many others work at their own pace at home.

Donations of 3 or 4 skeins of Lion Brand Homespun in a bright soft color would be gratefully accepted and can be dropped off at the Parish House.
